**This necklace is not Sterling Silver it is Rhodium plated, which is a hard silvery-white metal typically occurring in association with platinum. It increases shine, luster, and durability, and is harder than Sterling Silver.

Additionally, it will make your jewelry more resistant to scratches and less prone to tarnishing. If you have a nickel allergy, rhodium plating is a good option for you.
